We have Spring 2010 born long yearling replacement heifers available.  They are currently pastured with J.West's S.S. Carter for low birth weight Fall 2012 calves beginning Jan. 29, 2012.   These girls were pastured with Carter on Jan. 29.  SOLD

The next video shows the four available heifers on February 3, 2012.

J.West's Amazonia, Tag #3, Dam: HRH Bountiful, Sire: El Presidente
Grandsires: Popeye and Halliburton High Noon
DOB 3/30/10, BW 83 lbs - SOLD
WW 11/15/10 of 486 lbs, Hip Height 49.5" on 12/13/11, Frame Score 4.5; Weight 812 lbs on 12/20/11.
Amazonia is an excellent example of a pure white British White with an incredibly gentle disposition and particularly beautiful head and face. Her own dam, Halliburton bred HRH Bountiful, is a foundation female in my herd that always produces excellent sons and daughters.

J.West's Elsie Edna 31X, Tag #31, Dam: J.West's Elsie Edna, Sire: J.West's Elvis
Grandsires: De Beauvoir's Huckleberry Finn and DFTX "Doc" Watson
Halter Broke for Show - Purebred - SOLD
DOB 3-30-2010, BW 73 lbs
WW N/A, Hip Height 45.5 inches on 12/13/11, Frame Score 3.0; Weight 736 lbs on 12/20/11
Elsie Edna is an incredibly well made British White female, so much so she was chosen as the best of this group in terms of conformation, and she is halter broke. Elsie Edna's sons and daughters will produce American Fullbloods.  Her grandam was a foundation female in my her from Halliburton Farms.

J.West's Sugar Mae, #37, Dam: J.West's Donna Doll, Sire: J.West's Sugar Rae
Grandsires: Double J.West Elvis
DOB 2/2/10, BW 64 lbs - SOLD
WW 11/15/10 of 472 lbs, Hip Height 47" on 12/13/11, Frame Score 3.5; Weight 786 lbs on 12/20/11
Sugar Mae is a real sweetheart, and the awkward photo above doesn't really do her justice. She is a very thick heifer with lots of volume, and is expected to have exceptional carcass traits via both her dam and sire sides.

J.West's Lucille, #11, Dam: J.West's Lucy Lelora, Sire: J.West's Tom Sawyer
Grandsires: Halliburton Colonel and De Beauvoir's Huckleberry Finn
DOB 4/8/10, BW 76 lbs - SOLD
WW 11/15/10 of 484 lbs,; Hip Height 49", Frame Score 4.5; Weight 864 lbs on 12/20/11
Lucille is a very fine heifer, very gentle and curious, with a superior topline, showing great depth of body, and while the photo doesn't show it, she is a very thick female of gentle muscling. By far she is the best daughter of Lucy Lelora born to date, and would be a fine choice fir any herd. Her Grandam is the really deep and framey cow, CRae 215G, who was the elder anchor of my original herd and linear measured and ultrasounded by Gerald Fry many years ago with superior results in all respects.

J.West's Opal, #5, Dam: J.West's Nell Opal, Sire: J.West's El Presidente
Grandsires: J.West Bounder and Halliburton High Noon
DOB 3/30/10, BW 67 lbs - SOLD
WW 11/15/10 of 491 lbs; Hip Height 49" on 12-13-11, Frame Score 4.5; Weight 818 lbs on 12/20/11
Opal is a fine example of a feminine yet nicely muscled British White female, and one of the best standard frame El Presidente sired females born to date.

J.West's Clementine, #33, Dam: Halliburton Adios, Sire: J.West's Tom Sawyer
Grandsires: Popeye and De Beauvoir's Huckleberry Finn
Halter Broke for Show - SOLD
DOB 3/26/10, BW 58 lbs
WW N/A, Hip Height 46.5" on 12-13-11, Frame Score 3.5; Weight 790 lbs on 12/20/11
Clementine is the maternal sister of the excellent herd sires J.West's Elvis and J.West's El Presidente, and without doubt one of the best Tom Sawyer sired females born to date and clearly would be an asset to any herd.
